The good thing is they can free themselves, whereas the people who criticize cannot -and most probably never will- do so.Even if we shouldnt be criticized, we can take pride in knowing we have moments of pure freedom <3

:) i think people should just do whatever pleases them/express themselves however they choose to regardless of what others will think!

Get scared. It will do you good. Smoke a bit, stare blankly at some ceilings, beat your head against some walls, refuse to see some people, paint and write. Get scared some more. Allow your little mind to do nothing but function. Stay inside, go out - I don’t care what you’ll do; but stay scared as hell. You will never be able to experience everything. So, please, do poetical justice to your soul and simply experience yourself.

I am PISSED. I just saw this article “12 Tragic Rave Fashion Moments From New York’s Electric Daisy Carnival” which has left me angry and with the need to speak up about it. In this article on BuzzFeed, New York ravers are ridiculed and shamed for what they chose to wear to this year’s EDCNY. I guess you can conclude why I’m so pissed. People go to festivals and massives and events to free themselves from any worries or judgment. Then garbage articles like this are posted, only to bash and hate on others and judge people. Nothing positive comes from articles like this, only negative. Why should a festival attendee have to worry about a photograph of her in a cute daisy top end up on a shitty article? That’s right, they SHOULDN’T have to worry about being bashed or shamed or ridiculed or made fun of because of how they choose to express themselves at a music festival. After all, that’s why people go to music festivals such as EDC, to just free themselves.
